Helping individuals build deeper connections and have a more fulfilling and authentic life.
My philosophy toward helping people is one of collaboration, cooperation, and respect for your innate ability to heal and be whole. I am grounded in a humanistic/existential approach to therapy. Acknowledging that every individual is unique, I employ techniques that respond to your needs. I create a warm, supportive, and challenging therapeutic environment to help you explore your feelings and recognize that which is getting in the way of living an authentic and fulfilling life. You will find a safe space to help you process your experiences, grow, and heal. Together, we will work to address that which may be limiting you and to uncover your healthiest, fullest self.
My office is located in the Space Building in Fremont. The address is 600 North 36th Street, Suite 319, Seattle, WA 98103.

I am a Seattle therapist who works with a range of issues with adult individuals and couples and welcomes all populations. My areas of focus include: Life transitions; relationship challenges; family of origin issues; trauma background; anxiety and depression; LGBTQQ issues; gender identity; aging; parenting issues; internalized oppression; finding meaning; isolation and a desire for connection; grief and loss; and career and work challenges.
I am a Seattle counselor and psychotherapist with a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Antioch University. I am also a licensed Mental Health Counselor in Washington State. I am a member of the American Counseling Association. Prior to beginning my private practice, I worked as a intern therapist at Sound Mental Health and at the Antioch Community Counseling Clinic. I have also worked on a range of social, environmental, and human health issues. I have a strong background in multicultural counseling and a special interest in counseling individuals who are part of the LGBTQ and NB population. I bring a skillful, warm, and open approach to the therapeutic relationship. I feel the most important part of therapy to be the connection between counselor and client. I am honored and privileged to be able to support and guide clients on their journey toward self discovery and healing. I love this work.
